Since 1944, SCCA has championed one mission: To bring motorsports to the masses of American men and women who are passionate about automobiles, speed and competition. From National Championships to regional events, whether professional or amateur, it exists to organize, support and develop auto racing at every level and provide an outlet for you to get out of the armchair and into the action. So, whether your passion is auto crossing, rallying or road racing as a professional or as a weekend warrior, SCCA wants to help you fuel your passion.
FORMULA DRIFT
As the first official series in North America, Formula DRIFT has taken competitive motorsports to the extreme attracting fans and car enthusiasts from all walks of life and establishes itself as the world-wide leader for the sport. This high-skilled, high-powered motor sport where drivers intentionally maneuver their cars into well executed, controlled sideways slides at high speeds through a marked course, has more than 60 professional drivers competing in all seven pro competitions this year.
PRO-AM DRIFT
Formula DRIFT has had the Pro Am system in place for the last 3 years and it has produced FD Pros like Justin Pawlak, Bill Sherman, John Russakoff, Joon Maeng and others. This new program will only push the search for the next Formula DRIFT stars forward.
REDLINE TIME ATTACK
The Redline Time Attack Series is the only professionally organized and promoted automotive racing series dedicated to the motor sport of Time Attack in North America. It is not uncommon for our larger events to surpass 100 racer entries and surpass 3000 attendees. The newest crop of enthusiasts and participants are largely "not welcome" or not interested. The cars seen on the track are built by, driven by, tuned by and showcased by companies and individuals the fans and enthusiasts know and can relate to.
SUPER LAP BATTLE
November is truly a great month for the automotive industry. It marks the end of the heavy event season but it also brings two really important gatherings for our segment, SEMA and the world famous Super Lap Battle Finals.
